George NURDIN, MSc. , MBA, Ph.D, FinstD, was born and grew up in the South Pacific region. He studied management, business and economics in Europe and in the USA.
For the past twenty years he has held several International CFO, CEO and Executive positions in leading multinational companies, including Du Pont de Nemours, General Electric, Landis & Gyr / Siemens, Ascom and Valéo.
Over the last ten years Dr Nurdin has been an advisor on international and cross cultural management for international private and public companies, governmental agencies, and international organisations including the United Nations.
His experience spans across countries and regions where he has lived or worked including: South Africa, Northern Africa, Argentina, Australia, Austria, the Baltic Republics, Brazil, China, the Czech Republic, France, Germany, Hungary, Near East & Middle East, Poland, Russia, Slovak Republic, Romania, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, United Kingdom and USA.
Dr Nurdin also lectures in European universities and business schools. He has authored and co –authored numerous articles and books in international business and is a Fellow of the Institute of Directors, London; a Fellow of the National Association of Corporate Directors –USA-, a Fellow of the DFCG, the French Institute of Financial Executives, and a Member of the Board of ADAE, the French Institute of Corporate Directors.
Dr Nurdin speaks English, French, German, and Spanish and has a good command of Bislama and Drehu , and reads and writes Latin and Ancient Greek and has passion for History and the Arts. He also studied and practiced Budo (traditional Japanese martial Arts) , and was trained as an Army commando officer.
